How to crop a photo for a better composition
Reframe an image, choose an aspect ratio, and retain an editable original.
Cropping removes the outer parts of a composition without stretching the subject. Decide what the image should emphasize, then move distracting edges outside the crop. A square can suit an avatar; a wide crop may suit a banner.
Using ImgMini
- Open a photo and choose Transform, then Crop.
- Choose a ratio or use the free crop. Drag on the image to outline the area to keep.
- Apply the crop. Undo restores the previous canvas when you need another attempt.
- Export a finished copy, or save the project to retain layers and source images.
