How to resize an image without stretching it
Choose useful pixel dimensions, preserve proportions, and export a clean copy.
Resizing changes the number of pixels in an image. Reduce dimensions for a smaller display or file; enlarging interpolates existing pixels and cannot recreate missing detail. Keep the aspect ratio locked when the subject must retain its shape.
Using ImgMini
- Open an image, then choose Transform.
- Enter a width or height under Image size. Leave Lock enabled to preserve proportions, then apply.
- Use Canvas size only when adding space around the image rather than scaling its contents.
- Export image, choose the format and quality, and download the result.
