Build a practical favicon pack from one clean source image
A favicon must stay recognizable at very small sizes, so the source should use a simple silhouette, strong contrast, and generous spacing. ImgMini generates favicon.ico plus common PNG icon sizes and a small manifest snippet in one local ZIP.
Square artwork produces the most predictable result. The safe-padding option protects logos from touching the icon edges, but intricate text and thin strokes can still disappear at 16 or 32 pixels. Review the smallest generated icon, not only the large source.
The ZIP covers common browser and app-icon integration points.
The logo and icon files remain in the browser during generation.
Design for the smallest icon first
Use a dedicated symbol rather than a full wordmark when possible. Keep the original vector or large raster artwork as the master, then regenerate the pack whenever the brand mark changes.
Checks before downloading
- Use transparent PNG or SVG artwork with a clear visual center.
- Leave safe padding enabled unless the mark already includes deliberate whitespace.
- Test the generated favicon against both light and dark browser chrome.

What is inside the ZIP?
